By day three of NYFWM, I was really starting to feel the heat. I decided to break out my new Apollo polo from Ministry of Supply. The fabric is extremely breathable and is temperature regulating, so as I switched from being indoors to outdoors quickly, the fabric adjusted to my body temperature. I wanted to dress my look up a bit, so I added this lightweight marled dress trouser from Club Monaco. Keeping with the "casual cool" vibe for fashion week and since I've been all about this white sneaker trend, I paired my outfit with my Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars. You can never have enough Converse!
I completed my look with some rectangular sunglasses and mesh chain watch from Tommy Hilfiger. Since I'm not really a full-suit and tie kind of guy, I wanted to find a different way to create a sophisticated look that had a sporty edge to it. You don't always have to wear the traditional dress shoe or button-up shirt with dress trousers. Be different. Find different ways to mix and match dressy pieces with casual pieces to create the look that makes you feel comfortable and looking your best.
