I recently came across a new bike share system in DC called ofo. ofo originally started in Beijing and recently just launched in the Washington, DC area a few weeks ago. When I heard about the bikes, I was intriuged and had to check out them out for myself. *This blog post is part of a paid partnership with ofo.
I was amazed at how easy it was to find a bike and use it. All you have to do is download the ofo app, register (your first hour is FREE), and sign-up with an eligible credit or debit card and that's it!
From there you simply use the map in the app to locate a ofo bike nearest to where you are and scan the QR code behind the seat of the ofo bike. From there you're given an unlock code to punch into the bike lock (also located in the back) and then you're ready to ride!
You can ride for as many hours as you want for $1.00 per hour. It's simple, quick, and convienient! So, what are you waiting for? Get going with ofo!
