This past weekend I visit Washington, DC for Capital Pride. It’s one of my favorite events of the year and I wanted to make the trip down to see old friends and celebrate during a fun-filled weekend. I had the opportunity to stay at one of my favorite hotels in DC called The Mayflower Hotel. It’s really close to DuPont Circle and right in the heart of the city, so I found myself near all of the Capital Pride events which was fantastic. They put me up in a King Suite (pictured above) which has some pretty fantastic views of the city. It was a spacious room that offered various seating areas and I may also have had a little selfie boomerang fun in the bathroom! Do you follow me on Instagram? They also threw a very fun pre-pride parade happy hour the day of the parade right above their lobby area which overlooks their beautiful mirrored corridor (pictured above) and restaurant, EDGAR Bar & Kitchen. Next time you find yourself in Washington, DC, make sure The Mayflower Hotel is at the top of your list!
