If you ever have the chance to visit Washington, DC in the spring, make sure you visit right before the summer hits in March/April, so you have a chance to catch the world renowned Japanese cherry blossoms around the historic tidal basin. This is one of my favorite date night spots in the city. During the summer months, it's great for picnics during the day or evening walks during the sunset hour. As the city temperatures FINALLY started to warm up, I broke out my short sleeve button-down shirts. I spotted this cherry blossom shirt from Bonobos and of course had to have it, since I live in the city where tourists for all over the world come to see them. I paired it with some true blue colored J.Crew 484 denim and since I knew I'd be doing quite a bit of walking, I slipped on a pair of my favorite canvas Vans.
